Code of Conduct

Maintaining discipline and proper conduct is essential for creating a positive learning environment. These guidelines ensure respect, responsibility, and excellence.

Code of Conduct

To maintain discipline, order, and a conducive learning atmosphere, all students are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct. These guidelines ensure the safety, respect, and academic excellence of our school community.

Punctuality

Students should be present in the class at the beginning of the period and in time for all other activities and functions. Students who arrive late without prior permission will be required to bring a note from the parents/guardian which is to be handed over to the class teacher. However, if a student arrives late without permission more than thrice, he/she will not be allowed to attend the class on that date.

Attendance

Attendance on the last day of the school before a vacation and first day of the school after the vacation is absolutely essential. However, absence on the first day will be permitted for special reasons with the prior permission of the principal. Students will not be allowed to leave the school early under any circumstances.

Leave of Absence

Besides the vacation period, students are not granted any leave except under special circumstances, to be explained by the parent through a note to the principal. Prior permission has to be obtained from the principal for this purpose. Repeated absence without leave or, unexplained absence for more than six consecutive days will render the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted at the discretion of the principal. Re-admission fee is Rs. 200. A child who has been suffering from any contagious disease will be allowed to attend classes only after producing a certificate from the medical practitioner that he/she is free from infection.

General Behavior

A. Students are required to behave politely at all times and should not use indecent language or indulge in fights and quarrels with each other. Any kind of rowdyism and violence in any form is strictly forbidden.
B. Care must be taken of school property and no student should scratch or damage school property or write or draw on the walls. Any damage done will render the student liable for recovery of damages.
C. Indiscipline behavior in the school premises or in school bus will result in the students being debarred from using the bus facility.
D. Cell phones, mp3, i-pods, cameras are strictly banned in the school. Any student found with these items will be penalized.
E. Every student should take care of his/her personal belongings. School authorities will not be responsible for loss of such belongings.
F. Students should come to school in proper uniform and must maintain proper haircut at all times.
G. Girls shall not wear jewellery or apply nail polish when they come to school. Any kind of fashion accessories are strictly banned.
H. Students who use unfair means during tests/examination will be punished.
I. Disobedience and conduct injurious to the spirit of the school are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the pupil.
J. The school reserves the right to dismiss a student who is irregular in attendance, whose progress is repeatedly unsatisfactory, whose conduct in the school or outside is harmful to other students.
K. Violation of the rules and regulations of the school and the code of conduct will render the concerned student liable to punishment.
